Around Delhi Tour :

Badhkal Lake Located in the Faridabad district of Haryana, the beautiful Badhkal Lake, a natural pool enclosed amidst vast lawns and lush greenery. Around 30 km from Delhi, the lake is a popular picnic spot. It also offers boating facilities to tourists.

Kesroli A three-hour drive from Delhi, Kesroli in Rajasthan has a seven-turreted fort belonging to the 16th century. Supposedly built by the Yaduvanshi Rajputs, the structure offers splendid views of the surroundings from its ramparts.

Mud Fort Barely 80 km from Delhi stands the Mud Fort of Kuchesar, built by the Jat rulers in the mid-18th century. The fort withstood the onslaught of the Marathas, Rohillas, Sikhs, and Rajputs, as well as the French and British Companies. The seven turrets of the fort enable it to withstand the cannons.

Neemrana 122 km from Delhi, on a rocky outcrop over an unspoilt village, lies Neemrana, site to the majestic fort built by Prithviraj Chauhan III in 1464. The Neemrana Fort has now been converted into a heritage resort.

Sultanpur 46 km from Delhi, beyond Gurgaon, is Sultanpur a small bird sanctuary. The jheel (shallow lake) here is a hub of activity in November-December every year as the northern migratory birds arrive here. The jheel also offers adobe to the indigenous Indian crane, sarus.

Surajkund 11 km from Qutab Minar on the Mehrauli-Badarpur Road, Surajkund has a perennial lake surrounded by rock-cut steps. A Sun temple stood here, during AD 1000, whose ruins can still be seen here. The temple along with its enchanting surroundings won the heart of a Tomar chieftain Surajpal, belonging to a clan of sun worshippers. He had a sun pool and amphitheatre built here with the sun temple at its periphery. The place is named Surajkund after its founder. What began as small tourist spot in 1987 is now a celebration of centuries of crafts traditions at the annual Surajkund Crafts Mela. Craftsmen from all over India assemble during the first fortnight of February every year to participate in the Surajkund Crafts Mela. Talented weavers, artists, painters, sculptors and craftsmen showcase their creations. The Surajkund Mela, the biggest artisans’ fair in the country, has a unique theme to it, every year.

Tilyar Lake Situated in Rohtak district, 70 km from Delhi, the Tilayar Lake is a popular getaway for tourists. The lake has accommodation facilities with restaurants, bar, children/’s park and a mini zoo is its facility list.
